Welcome to the UCH Sharks fresher page. American Football is now officially one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, with 45 recognised University Teams, 46 Senior teams and numerous youth programmes. Its not usually the first choice of someone looking to join a sports team at University, but it is one of the most rewarding, exciting and fun sports to play! Unlike most other sports, there are AMAZING opportunities available to players of American Football. The Sharks have a long tradition of producing NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL level players. Last year alone, we had 7 players representing the Sharks at the national All Star match, and 2 players getting PAID to play and live in Europe!! In previous years, we have also produced several Great Britain and European level players. UCH Sharks also have a fantastic social side of the team. Wednesday nights at Hull University is AU night, where all university sports teams have socials which usually end up in ASYLUM, Hull University's very own club! So...want to know more?!
